Building Design

Making the World a Better Place

Architectural design, as it was for the Renaissance, is an extension of my art; as the art of building, architecture at its best was always tied to a holistic understanding of the environment, materiality, and social engagement. Vitruvius listed the three paradigms of architecture as firmness, commodity, and delight. While my work is rooted in the first two, it aspires especially toward the latter.
